"The path to becoming a composer for film scores is not standard by any means, and Nate Heller took an interesting journey. While studying music production techniques and interning at University of California, San Diego in his 20s, he started touring the country nationally with his band Wendy Darling, and soon the group landed a record deal. From there, the band's music was used in both film and television, and Heller seized the opportunity to carve out a new musical career...his work can be heard in the critically acclaimed, Sundance and Berlin winning 'The Diary Of A Teenage Girl,' his first credited film score."  — IndieWire
